Prayer is not what we do in a hurry, there are some procedures to prayers if you really want to pray very well you have to learn how to pray. You are an island of knowledge doesn't mean you know all including how to pray, so it doesn't work like that.
Even our lord Jesus Christ taught his disciples how to pray, he taught them by teaching them our lords prayer. In prayer the first thing you do is to worship God first before any other thing.
