Glory be to God
What a powerful day again in the presence of God.
Today teaching were all about things that are forbidden and things we should never engage in such as Idolatory, fornication, eating foods sacrificed to gods and many more.
I want to share with you what I learned today.
In the beginning God made the heavens and the earth with his word, God is his word and the word is him, that is why what ever he says come to pass, John 1:1;3 In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. It is by the word of God everything we see on earth was created.
Whenever we give our lives to christ and accept him as our lord and savior,then we will become new creatures, and old things are pass away, our sins will be forgiven, but first we must first seek Christ first, 2COR 5:17, If any man be in Christ Jesus he is a new creature, old things are passed away and behold all things have become new.
We should not bow down to idol or creatures made by men with silver and gold, let only bow down to our creator only and not creatures.
Let us not eat meat offered to an idol, it is forbidden to partake both in the things of the lord and of the devil, we should also eat blood because it is forbidden, strangled things are forbidden and we should not commit fornication ACTS 15:29, That ye abstain from the meat offered to idol and form blood and from the things strangled and from fornication, which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well.
Idolatory, fornication, eating of strangles things and blood of meats is an abomination unto the lord.
God has made us head over all creatures, we are suppose to look after all things because they are under our care, we should look after flocks, animals, feed them. We should also feed the church, as Christ has already paid the price for our sins. Acts 20:28, Take heed unto yourselves and to all flocks, over the which the Holy Ghost has made you overseers to feed the church of God which he purchased with his own blood.
Our body is the temple of God, it should be kept holy always, let the word of God dwell in our heart and body, please we should not defile our body, God does not dwell in a body that commit fornication,adultery. Let us abstain from such sins so that he will dwell abundantly in us.
We are buried in Christ through baptism, when we give our lives to Christ and baptize,our sins are buried and forgiven. Romans 6;4, Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death, that like Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of his father even so wr could walk in newness of life.
