Hello my fellow brothers and sisters may the peace of the Lord be with you all.
Today, am here once again to share with you what i learnt during our zoom mass indoctrination day 3

WHAT TO DO FOR GOD TO ACCEPT OUR PRAYERS

We should remember that prayer is a commandment and the right manner of praying is one of the doctrines of Jesus Christ which we must fellow when praying to God.

We should never be in sin whiles we pray to God because our prayer will be in vain.

Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

If a person praying to God is upright God becomes excited but if the person praying to God is wicked is an abomination to God.

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: But the prayer of the upright is his delight.

THE CORRECT MANNER TO PRAY TO GOD

We must never use vain repetition of words when we are praying because our God is not deaf and he already knows what we want before we even ask him.

But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

We should never show off our prayer to men like the hypocrites do.

And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

We must kneel and bow down before we go to our father in prayers.
Kneeling and bowing down in prayers shows our humility before our maker.

And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all.

Women should cover their hair when praying to God whiles men do not need to cover their hair when praying to God.
Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
