WHAT I LEARNT FROM THE MESSAGE:

The message as taught by Bro Eli was anchored on prayer.

It's very important to pray to God as christians.

Prayer is one way we can reach God and talk to Him.

It's God's commandment to always pray before we eat because even Jesus prayed before he ate.

Every creature of God is good because it's sanctified by the word of God.

Prayer is requesting from God, it's a petition from God.

God is always ready to hear prayers.

Some people pray only when they are sick.

God does not need a cell phone, He just needs us to kneel down and pray to Him.

We should pray always, without ceasing, we shouldn't pray only we are in need or in problem.

God is a just God

We should pray day and night, non stop, we should pray without ceasing

We should pray once we wake up in the morning and also pray before we sleep thanking God for delivering us the whole day and for the provisions He has given us.

We shouldn't recite repititious prayers, which is vain repititions.

A prayer should be simple few words, we shouldn't repeat them because God is not slow to understand our prayers, we do not need to repeat our prayers.

We should make our prayers as brief as possible.

God already knows what we need before we pray.

Our prayers should be Precise, brief and non repititive.

We should pray with a pure heart, not with a heart of filth.

If you call on God with a filthy heart shall not be heard.

We should call on God with a righteous tongue because prayers from a filthy tongue is an abomination unto Him.

The prayers of a wicked man cannot be heard by God.

He's delighted when an upright person is praying.

When praying, we should have a conscience(Heart) void of offence towars God and man.

Our heart should be pure because all things that defiles a man comes from the heart.

We should guard our heart from sin because the heart is deceitful.

It's only God that can search the heart, therefore we should always guard our hearts from abomination.

When we're praying to God with wickedness in the heart, the prayer would be in vain

The truth in the word of God is what cleanses us, the word of God is hidden in our hearts to prevent us from sinning

Purity of the heart is needed when we pray so that God can answer our prayers.

The wickedness of the heart is an hindrance to answer to prayers

The works of the flesh would make our hearts filthy and keep us away from the truth of the word.

Jealousy is a work of the flesh

Wickedness would make our prayers in vain.

When our heart and tongue is clean, God would answer our prayers.

When the heart is evil, the speech from the mouth would be evil and vice versa.

What abounds in the heart would come out of the mouth.

Let's be truthful at all times

All things we say should be said "God willing"

The word of a Christian is a word of honour

We should be faithful to our agreement.

If God sees deception in our heart and mouth, he wouldn't listen to our prayers.

Let us eschew evil and do good so that God can hear us

We should tame our tongue because the tongue is like a wild fire

Our mouth should not give out both blessings and cursing.

Cleanse and purify the way of living before praying.

Our tongue should not speak deceit and guile.

Our speech should be honest, let our "yes" be "yes" and our "no" be "no"

We should control our tongue from evil

We should be true in speaking

Our entire being should be in conformity with the word of God for Him to listen to our prayers.

HOW THE MESSAGE HAS CHANGED MY LIFE

Prayer is very important in my life as a Christian and I must pray at all times.

My prayers must come from a purified heart and a purified tongue for God to listen to them.

My prayers should be non repititive.

Thanks be to God for listening on our meeting.

MCGI Cares (Hive) community's main mission is to share the words of God, not the Hive upvotes. If we get upvotes, please treat it as just a bonus. Do not focus mainly on material things as the bible is teaching us not to look at things seen but rather focus our eyes on things not seen.

II CORINTHIANS 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
