THE MAJOR POINTS IN THE LESSON

Greetings you all my people, how are you all doing? God has given us another bright and wonderful day, may his name be praised. I will use this special time to share what I learnt from today's lesson.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the merciful God. He is holy and had never sin before. He wish for our success but not our downfall. The love want us to follow his footsteps. He want us to do good to others always.
Thesolonians 5:21
I learnt that, we should always prove all things and hold to what is good.

God does not listens to the prayers of sinners. The way to talk to God is through prayers. God listens to us through prayers but not all prayers go to God. God listens to the prayers of the righteous and those who do good. Those who live the righteous life the Lord delight in them. He does not listens to the prayers of sinners and all evil doers. Adultery, fornication, robbery are all abominable to God. The way to make your prayer known to God is to live a pure live. A life without sin is what the Lord expect from us.

2 Peter 2:1
There will be many prophets in the world who are not from God. They used the name of the Lord to cover their evil deeds. They go round deceiving people with their false teachings. We should always be watchful and vigilant so that we will not be in the cage of the wicked one. The way to figure out these false prophets is to find out if what they teach is from the Bible. We should try all of them to know if they are teaching what is in the Bible.
We should not trust every spirit but try the spirits to see those from God.

Any time we pray, we should not use vain repetition as the hypocrytes do for they believed that they will be heard for their much speaking. Praying louder and shouting for the world to hear that you are praying is not the good way to communicate to God. God don't want us to act like the hypocrytes who shout when praying to draw the attention of the peoples. The Lord is the secret God who sees what ever is hidden, he will still hear you when you pray silently. We should use few words when we pray. When we pray, we should enter the room, close all the doors and pray to the father who is in secret, the Lord who sees in secret will reward you for that.

Prayers are not says everywhere. We can not just stand in every position and pray to God. Just like humans, if we want to approach a king or greet a king, you can not stand upright and greet the king. You bow down to the king to greet him. This shows respect you have for the king. If we can bow to the human to greet him with the intention of showing respect to him, how much about God who made us. The good way to pray to God is to kneel down and bow to the Lord before you pray.

MY FORMER BELIEFS OR EXPECTATIONS THAT WAS IMPROVED

The proper way to pray is to bow down and pray to God. When we pray, we should be on our knees and pray to the Lord. Kneeling and praying to the Lord shows the maximum respect we have for the Lord.
I also believed that, false teachers are everywhere in the world deceiving peoples with their false teachings.

THE IMPACT OF THE STUDY ON MY LIFE

I do not stand in open places when praying.
I kneel down and bow down before the Lord before i pray. I pray in closed places like room because I believed that my father who is a secret God will hear my prayers and reward me.

We are inviting you to join the MCGI Cares (Hive) community that study the words of God and also earn some reward by making our reactions on it. We can check this link https://peakd.com/c/hive-182074/trending

Thanks be to God for listening on our meeting.

MCGI Cares (Hive) community's main mission is to share the words of God, not the Hive upvotes. If we get upvotes, please treat it as just a bonus. Do not focus mainly on material things as the bible is teaching us not to look at things seen but rather focus our eyes on things not seen.

II CORINTHIANS 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
