The prayer is not just that repeating words or that performing a routine, it is bringing our deepest request before God with the full trust of His power that He has in us. I love how many of us are in the prayer asking God to do what no human on earth can and do so with anxiety or doubt. Life comes with so many issues and worries.
Brother Eli shows that the antidote to anxiety is prayer mixed with thanksgiving. Whether it is sickness, danger or condition, we are invited to approach God directly and confidently. The example he gave, praying for sick ones, sick loved ones or God's protection during disaster, sure, practical and personal prayer can be.
What is important here in Moses is the reminder that from Hebrews and Daniel, it does fit our fears. Faith is what makes our requests more sincere and it is what pleases God. If we doubt, we become unstable like waves.
This is his call to us, to God, to pray sincerely and to believe that he hears what you ask for. Truly this is a beautiful work.
We should pray in total believe in the one who we are praying to
