Lessons learnt during the thanksgiving service:
What is the important part of the body?
Ephesians 1:18 KJV
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
Darkness will fill the body when the eyes are blinded.
2 Corinthians 11:3 KJV
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
2 Corinthians 4:4 KJV
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
No other thing is blinded by the enemy.
Matthew 6:23 KJV
But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
Genesis 6:5 KJV
And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
A dark heart is full of evil. There are two divisions God and Devil, light and darkness.
The thoughts comes from the heart. If your eyes is evil you will have evil thoughts.
Matthew 15:19 KJV
For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
What will go to the heart will have a pathway.
The heart has eyes which is the pathway to the heart.

Luke 2:35 KJV
(Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.
Your mind should be enlightened.
Luke 24:45 KJV
Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
The word with eyes and mind here are the same.
Acts 8:22 KJV
Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.
Psalm 33:11 KJV
The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
If your eyes is full of evil then your whole body will be filled with evil.

The eyes only see two things ; good and evil.
Matthew 5:28 KJV
But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
When a man look lustfully on a woman then he is committing sin with her.
Matthew 22:37 KJV
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
A man can commit adultery with his eyes. The devil is attacking the eyes of a man so as to blind humans put him in darkness.
Romans 1:21 KJV
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
When you have your eyes enlightened then your whole body will be filled with light.
2 Peter 1:19 KJV
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

Believing through what you heard and it is kept in your heart.
The eyes, hears are passage ways. We are talking about the spiritual eyes.
Philippians 4:17 KJV
Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
When our hearts are set on the things above, our minds will be enlightened. The enemy does not want the word of God to enter into the heart of men, so he darkens their hearts.
Paul feared that innocent and pure hearts can be made evil, so we must avoid this and maintain our pure heart by trusting in God, this will keep us in peace.
Jeremiah 17:10 KJV
I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
