ZOOM BIBLE EXPOSITION ON 5TH JANUARY, 2022.

I will like to share what I learnt during the bible exposition on the 5th of January, 2022.
Bro. Eli Soriano of blessed memory in his teaching today taught us that the shape of the earth has been established long ago in the Bible before science;
In Isaiah 40:22 - God sat on the circle of the earth and we are as grasshoppers. So the shape of the earth is circular. This was what the scientist also found out many, many years later.
Consumption of honey was a commandment of God.
Proverbs 24:13 KJV and Proverbs 25:16 KJV tell us how sweet honey is, eating it to satisfaction.
An article was read that mentioned how dangerous honey is for babies, it can grow botulinum spores which produces toxins that can lead to transient paralysis in young infants. Therefore, honey should be avoided in young infants.
It is written in Ezekiel 18:20 KJV that the soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
Everyone will bear the consequences of their actions.
For a child is born sinless he have the chance of making heaven unlike what some churches believe that if a child should die unbaptised he will go to limbo, the child will also not pay for the
A question was asked by a brother, if a man has the capacity to know God's plan;
Bro Eli said that a man has the capacity to know the plans of God, he quoted Ephesians 5:17. Before we were created God knows us, he has plans for us which are good and not evil, so he wants us to know his plans.
The whole duty of man is to fear God and keep his commandments.
In 1 Timothy 1:13 it was made clear that sins committed in ignorance no matter how big it is will be forgiven because when you have the knowledge and you intentionally sin then you won't receive mercy and such will be punished.
God will laugh at the anguish, calamity of the disobedient.
In summary we need to seek for the knowledge of God, we must be obedient, running away from sins.
