As Christians, there are good works that we can decide upon ourselves to do. Not every good work we involve ourselves in must be directed by God. Some people wait until they are led by the spirit to help someone before they do. This is not supposed to be so. There are good works that we can take upon ourselves to do. God will not be offended by it.
Philemon 1:21 - Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.
This is Apostle Paul writing to the church. He expectation from them is that they do more than what he instructed. We are to go the extra mile. There's no limit to the good works we can render to people. The whole of humanity should benefit from our good works. Basically, anything we know to be the right thing, we should not refrain from doing it.
God doesn't need to tell us everytime what we are expected to do. Within ourselves, we know that which is good and which is not. You can never do good enough. There are a lot of good things that we can do that so many would benefit from it.
We should not hold them back from people. Let us continue in good works and God who sees it will surely reward us. God bless you.
