Being a peacemaker according to the Bible (Part 1 of 4) | The Old Path

Bible readings: Galatians 5:13 Acts 17:31, Hebrews 9:27 John 5:28-29, Revelation 20:11, Deuteronomy 30:19

The way we live as humans, our brains are influenced by two forces. It's either we are influenced by God or the Devil. But we are at liberty to decide whoever we want to rule our beings. When God created us He gave us freewill. Every action we take in life is up to us. God will never compel us to do anything.

Galatians 5:13 - For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

Every of our actions are indirectly controlled by God or the devil. God and the devil are like colonial masters to humans. But they can't rule the same set of people together. It is either you belong to the colony of God or of the devil. This is how we were designed to live. God's intention was for man to be under his administration.

But the devil succeeded in influencing man and that was how evil was birthed into this world. God is fully aware of the evil deeds of man. Many people indulge themselves in evil acts. What they fail to understand is that there's an appointed time for judgment of the world. This is something that is certain and inevitable.

Acts 17:31 - Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

God has set a day by which He will commence His judgment on the earth through His son, Jesus Christ. We are all going to be judged by God. No one can escape it. We should be mindful of who we let influence or life; either God or the devil because they both have different impacts in our lives.
