God did not order you to give him thanks giving, they will not say you are stealing if you do not give thanks. there was a brother that want to give thanks giving if he pass his exams and when he passed he give thanks giving to God. you see brothers he was not forced to give the money but he give the money willingly.
The bible said out of them shall proceed thanks giving the voice that make merry i will multiply them and they shall not be few and i will glorify them and they shall not be small
The bible say you should not forget to do good. the decision is up to you when you are going to do it, the commandment said let you offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually.
The sacrifice of raise is thanks giving. St Paul said let us offer the sacrifice of praise continually. with such good things God is well pleased.
The sacrifices you are going to offer to God are Praise sacrifice of thanks giving and to contribute voluntarily.
Donot forget to do good and to share. it is prohibited for you to tell people how much you give
