Because the Bible is not written to follow the direct linage, so it will be hard to trace that in this present time.
So we are advice not to give in to fables
1 Timothy 1:4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.
Because there is no way we can trace the direct genealogy of Mary there is no record in the Bible.
The authority of the bible tells us Jesus is from Judah which we can affirm from the the vision that was shown to John
Revelation 5:4-5
4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
Which is also a confirmation to what was written in the book of Hebrew by apostle Paul
Hebrews 7:14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.
If we believe in the Bible the Lord Jesus Christ is from Judah with authority of the bible affirming it
