Let's take a look at our actions: Do they match our words and attitudes?

My brothers, what good will it do if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and in need of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, 'Go in peace, be warmed and fed,' but you do not give them the things necessary for the body, what good does it do? 17 So also faith, if it does not have works, is dead, being alone. 18 But someone will say, 'You have faith, and I have works.' Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

James 2:14-18

Throughout the Bible God invites us to share his word, the truth with all people, so that we can reach all the ends of the earth with the knowledge of God, but there are times when our attitudes and our actions are not only not in harmony but sometimes contradict the words we say.

At all times we are communicating in any way, we communicate with people and we send messages with the things we say and also with what we do not say as well as with what we do and what we do not do, a simple example is the following: if as parents we do not follow the principles of God or we do not have customs that make Christian growth such as not praying, not giving our tithes or not wanting to congregate, we are sending a very clear message to our generation and to our children. Without saying anything we are giving them a lesson, we are teaching them that we are not faithful in the things of God, that it is not something that interests us, we are transmitting a teaching to them, for our children actions speak much more than words, let us keep this in mind.

7 For you yourselves know how you ought to imitate us; for we did not walk disorderly among you, 8 nor did we eat anyone's bread for nothing, but we worked with toil and labor night and day, so that we might not be burdensome to any of you; 9 not because we did not have the right, but that we ourselves might give you an example so that you might imitate us.

2 Thessalonians 3:7-9

The apostle Paul is a great example of this, he understood that our conduct, our actions are great lessons for other people. This is why he made sure to have the correct behavior and the appropriate values ​​so that his spiritual children would emulate in a similar way after observing.

This is not about deciding whether to communicate or not to communicate, since we are communicating at all times, the idea is what kind of message am I communicating? We must examine ourselves to discover the message we are communicating. Is there a difference between what we say and what we do? Let us choose to share a message that is whole, consistent with what the word of God says, the world needs hope and that is what we can transmit about what God has provided for us.

Echemos un vistazo nuestras acciones: ¿Coinciden con nuestras palabras y nuestras actitudes?.

Hermanos míos, ¿de qué aprovechará si alguno dice que tiene fe, y no tiene obras? ¿Podrá la fe salvarle? 15 Y si un hermano o una hermana están desnudos, y tienen necesidad del mantenimiento de cada día, 16 y alguno de vosotros les dice: Id en paz, calentaos y saciaos, pero no les dais las cosas que son necesarias para el cuerpo, ¿de qué aprovecha? 17 Así también la fe, si no tiene obras, es muerta en sí misma.
18 Pero alguno dirá: Tú tienes fe, y yo tengo obras. Muéstrame tu fe sin tus obras, y yo te mostraré mi fe por mis obras.

Santiago 2:14-18

Largo de toda la Biblia Dios nos invita a compartir su palabra, la verdad con todas las personas, que podamos alcanzar a todos los confines de la tierra con el conocimiento de Dios, pero hay veces que nuestras actitudes y nuestras acciones no solamente no están en armonía sino que a veces contradicen las palabras que decimos.

En todo momento estamos comunicando de cualquier manera, comunicamos a las personas y enviamos mensajes con las cosas que decimos y también con lo que no decimos como también con lo que hacemos y lo que no hacemos, un ejemplo sencillo es el siguiente: si como padres no seguimos los principios de Dios o bien no tenemos costumbres que hagan el crecimiento cristiano como por ejemplo no orar, no dar nuestros diezmos o no querer congregarnos, estamos enviando un mensaje muy claro a nuestra generación y a nuestros hijos. Sin decir nada les estamos dando una lección, le estamos enseñando que no somos fieles en las cosas de Dios, que no es algo que nos interese, les estamos transmitiendo una enseñanza, para nuestros hijos las acciones hablan mucho más que las palabras, tengamos muy en cuenta esto.

7 Porque vosotros mismos sabéis de qué manera debéis imitarnos; pues nosotros no anduvimos desordenadamente entre vosotros, 8 ni comimos de balde el pan de nadie, sino que trabajamos con afán y fatiga día y noche, para no ser gravosos a ninguno de vosotros; 9 no porque no tuviésemos derecho, sino por daros nosotros mismos un ejemplo para que nos imitaseis.

2 Tesalonicenses 3:7-9

El apóstol Pablo es un gran ejemplo acerca de esto, él entendió que nuestra conducta, nuestras acciones son grandes lecciones quedamos a otras personas. Es por esto que se aseguró en tener el comportamiento correcto y los valores adecuados para que sus hijos espirituales emularan de manera similar despues de observar.

Aquí no se trata de decidir si comunicar o no comunicar ya que en todo momento estamos comunicando, la idea es ¿qué tipo de mensaje estoy comunicando? Debemos examinarnos a nosotros mismo para descubrir el mensaje que estamos comunicando. .¿Existe diferencia entre lo que decimos y hacemos? Optemos por compartir un mensaje íntegro, coherente con respecto a lo que dice la palabra de Dios, el mundo necesita de esperanza y eso es lo que podemos transmitir acerca de lo que Dios nos ha provisto nosotros.
