A home is a place where love and peace should abound. The last thing that we should display as believers is violence. The Bible told us that charity begins at home. If we cannot love our brothers and sisters who we live with under the same roof then how will it be possible for us to love our neighbors and people outside our home?
Whatever may be the misunderstanding it should never lead to violence in the home. A lot of families have been divided simply because of this issue of domestic violence. This is not how God desires that will live our lives as Christians. A Christian home should not be a home in which peace is lacking between the members of the family.
In the kind of situation where this exists between the parents it has a way of causing a psychological trauma in the life of the children especially if they are still tender and witnessing such behavior between their parents from time to time. A home should be a place of peace and not a war zone.
We shouldn't give the devil a room to manifest himself in our homes. Instead we should Express love to one another.
Let love lead us as people who are greatly united in the presence of God
