The doctrines of Jesus Christ enables us to serve God and do good to our fellow men. We are instructed in the way of God through the lessons of these teachings. When we listen to these doctrines, we must do them. We must observe to obey our God and to follow His commandments.
Jesus Christ is our Teacher
Matthew 17:5 (KJV) While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
Bro Eli Soriano told us that Jesus Christ is our Teacher whom God has sent to teach us His commandments. We should listen to the doctrines of Jesus Christ and obey Him. The Father had declared it to the apostles that we should listen to Jesus Christ because he the teacher that God has sent. We should be watchful not to follow false teachers. False teachers are deceivers. They teach their traditions as doctrines. They draw people out of the way of God. We should not allow ourselves to be deceived by the false doctrines from these false teachers.
We Should Not Be Like The Beast
Psalms 49:20 (KJV) Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.
Bro Eli Soriano explained to us the nature of beast. He said that some men have the nature of beast in their inner man.
There are men whose hearts are filled with the nature of beast. Such men do not reflect the word of God which they are hearing. They behave wild as the beast. They are hardened as the beast. They are husbands who maltreat their wives. They are wives who disobey their husbands. When we refuse to obey the Word of God which is written in the Bible then our inner man is that of a beast.
