What is the will of God ? , What is God's will for us ? , What does it mean to follow the will of God ?.

Well this are some of the questions that actually bothered immediately I came in contact with this sermon but hopefully , I was able to find the answer which o seeked.

The primary will of God for us his creatures is to follow his and obey his commandments. So following God's will means obeying his commandments.

Following God's commandments soaks us into the things of God, and being soaked in the things of God guarantees us his protection.

  • Ecclesiastes 12:13

Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind.

In this verse of the Bible, we were meant to understand that highest purpose of men on Earth is to Obey God's will and do his commandments.

  • Matthew 28:20

"And teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

As can be seen from these verse, Our Lord Jesus Christ instructs his followers to spread his commandments and teachings towards every corner of the Earth and assures them of his protection as they do so.

So my fellow breathren , if. We really wish to be close to God and enjoy the privilege that comes with it , let us learn to obey the will of God by doing his commandments.

MAY THE GRACE AND PEACE OF THE LORD BE WITH US ALL , AMEN

We should obey the commandments of God

Exactly, that is the only assurance to be under the protection of God almighty.
