The teaching in this video reminded us that, once again, working with God is not a one-time event but a life-long journey.
Studying the Word of God. It is something we can't all limit to certain moments Instead, it's something we just remain. As Christ said in John 8:31, If ye continue my word, then ye are my disciples indeed.
What really touched me the most is the reminder that learning does not stop at that baptism. Many people think that once they are baptised, then our journey is complete. But what I clearly explained is that baptism is not the beginning. After that, we must be taught to observe, to live by the teachings, and to continually grow in the study of Christ.
This explanation of Matthew 28:29-30 made the message even clearer that we are not just baptised. We are guided now and molded to the Word so we can stand so firm despite all confusion, temptation, and the kind of challenges we face in this world.
This is a beautiful encouragement to keep staying humble, to be teachable, and to be rooted in God's Word. Truly, being a disciple is just like a lifetime. And it is also a reward you want.
As long as we live, we need to study the word of God
