We have been warned by Brother Eli that we should never make promises that we cannot fulfill. We should be careful the way we make promises.
It's better we do not make a promise at all than to make a promise and not fulfill. It's not good to make an empty promise. Even, it is more important when it comes to our children, we should not practice that it's not good.
Some parents use deception to deceive their children so they can keep having their way, but it's a lie to deceive them. We make promises which they themselves know that they can never fulfill in their life. Such practices are not good at all and then they go up.
When you keep making a promise that you can never fulfill just to feel good of yourself or be hopeful on you it's not good. It is only good that we learn to surprise those that we want to give something like sometimes we cannot surprise them that is actually doing what we want to do.
The Bible is not in a line with the deception of promising. You should learn to be always truthful. We should learn the examples of Jesus Christ. Do not forget those practice. It's a sin to keep making that one that you can never fulfill. At this moment we have to be honest with ourselves. The reward and and teaching our children to do the same to fulfill your promise and not make empty promise also ever.
The Bible says that to train our children the way it should go so that when they grow up they will never depart from it and this is very necessary. If our children walk the way of righteousness it will benefit us too. In righteousness, let us train our children in the way of God.
