Peace be unto you all in the name of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ amen I want to appreciate God for this message thought by Bro Eli about the importance of prayer how to pray when to pray.
I will be sharing with us what I have learnt in today's teaching about the doctrine of God cocerning prayer.
Mark 11 : 24 in this verse the bible is teaching us to pray the bible says any thing that we desired in our heart when we pray not just prayer alone when we pray in believe that we have received what we are asking of God we shall receive them. this means our prayer works with faith we must have faith when we are asking anything from God the bible tell us in
Hebrews 11 : 1 this verse is teaching us about faith the verse says faith is the substance of things hope for the evident of things not seen this means even if things does not look like it is happening the way we have prayed we should believe in our heart that it is done we should not have doubt whatsoever in our heart when we pray.
Philippians 4 : 6 the bible is teaching us to be thankful in everything the bible says we should give thanks to God in our prayers and supplication with thanksgiving let our requests be .are known unto God this is teaching when we want to pray we should not begin our prayers with complain that is wrong the bible is teaching us no matter the situation the first thing to do when we want to pray is to give thanks to God first then after that make our request known.
A very perfect example let's see
Matthew 15 : 36 in this verse the bible is teaching us how to pray we all know the story of the multitude Jesus fed with just 5 loaf of bread and two fishes we all know that it was more than enough most of us just saw the miracle but fail to understand the principle. The bible recorded that the first thing Jesus did when he prayed was he gave thanks first he didn't start his prayer with complain no he gave thanks and broke the bread in faith and his prayers where answered.
Luke 18 : 1 we see in this verse that the bible is teaching us that men ought always to pray and not to faith many people has misinterpreted this verse and understood it to be repeatation of pray bro Eli made us understand that it is wrong to keep repeating our prayers when the bible says men ought always to pray this means as men in the morning when we wake up from sleep we pray before we go to bed we pray before we eat we pray before we go out we pray that is what the verse means and not the other way round as most people thing.
Thanks be to God for listening on our meeting.

II CORINTHIANS 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Thank you for your precious time
