It is a costly assumption to conclude that you are in Christ, when in reality you are far away from Him..
Jesus earthly parents were looking for Him in the crowd until they discovered He was not with them. It took three days before they found Him in the temple listening to and sharing the word of God. He then made His parents realize the importance of being at His Father's business - the exact place where God wanted Him to be.
Today, many people have left Jesus behind in pursuit of worldly things, thinking that He is still with them. Many think that He can only be found among the crowd, so they choose to club, party and even go to mega churches with mammoth crowds, because they think Jesus Christ can only be found there. No! He may not be in the crowd. You are to return to God with the totality of your heart today, and you will find Him when you seek Him in spirit and in truth.
As believers, we struggle with the opposition of the powers of darkness, and enemies who want to keep us away from God. Therefore, spiritual strength and courage are very necessary for our spiritual warfare to enable us draw closer to God wholeheartedly.
