Thanks be to God,I will be sharing with us below some of the few important lessons I learnt from our Bible study held by Bro Eli which the topic was The Contradicting Teaching on the 9th of February,2022.coupled with a short video reaction of lessons learnt.
- We as Christians we need to know the bible and understand it because Some pastors use their own interpretations and how they understood the bible to teach their members. That is where the contradiction of the bible comes from.
The house used in psalm 127:1 is the house which only God has the right to build is the church of God. So,what God created and his name should be together that's his glory they should not be separated.
The one who form the church is God and if the church is being called by his name is for his glory.
Our Lord Jesus Christ was sent by God to build the church but God is the legitimate owner of the church that's why it's should be called the church of God
Acts 2-36 made it clear that God made Jesus both Lord and Christ. So it is wrong to say not the name Lord that was created that it was Christ.
-The name of Christ was given but not created by him. Acts 4:12
- According to Psalm 110:1 David have two Lord there is a Lord sitting and there is a Lord standing beside the one sitting but the original Lord is God. Why are they two? The reason is that,before Jesus Christ was introduced to the earth and was crucified he was made lord in Christ Act 2 :36 by God that was created not by his name.
My expectations that was improved by listening to the word of God during the Bible study via zoom
- I have an idea that the earth will end some day and that will be in the judgment day. I never knew that there is end of the earth and end of heaven as well. Bro Eli made it clear that,the earth has an end and the end of the earth is the end of the sea. Psalm 19:1-2 also made it clear that the heaven declares the glory of God and his hand work. When Heaven has an end how much more of the earth.
How the study has affected me and make me a better person that I can use in my daily life
- The study helped me to understand that,our lord Jesus Christ is a messenger of God. He was sent by God to build the church but he is the owner. So everything that was created by God should be called by his name they should not be separated. Because it's for his glory.
