Is The Holy Week Biblical?

Holy week? What happened to all the days of your life? I hear a lot of people say that Semana Santa is the holy week and the only holy week in every year. That’s very wrong. I guess those set of people are trying to say that you have to be holy for just one week out of the whole sixty-four weeks we have in a year. That’s not possible and uncalled for.
What did God say in Luke 9:23? He says, And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up the cross daily, and follow me.

Denying yourself simply means forgetting about every other thing and follow the will of God. In the Bible verse, and take up the cross daily simply tells us that everyday should be a holy day. Also, it does not have to do with only the sabbath day but everyday of your life.

It means if you are going to follow Jesus Christ, all the days of your life has to be holy. Also, Brother Eli mentioned something and gave some proofs to back it up which really made me know that it is true. Who said Jesus Christ died on a Friday? That’s wrong. Jesus Christ did not die on a Friday.
It will not prove that Jesus is the Christ if he died on a Friday and resurrected on Sunday - Brother Eli.

But for you, who always feel the Semana Santa is the only time to be holy, you’re not right. You have to make sure that everyday of your life is holy.
