That morning, around 4:30 am I was ready. Previously I had made a schedule with my friends to hunt for the sunrise at Paotere Traditional Harbor. This port is the only traditional port in Makassar City that is still actively operating.

Paotere Harbor is only about 500 meters from my house. But this is my first time hunting sunrise inside this harbor area. It is said that according to some friends who have hunted the sunrise at Paotere Harbor this is one of the most beautiful moments.

At 5 o'clock we arrived at Paotere Harbor. The sky was still quite dark. Because this port is a traditional port, so many wooden ships carrying goods from various regions dock here. A little hopeless, how to get a good sunrise photo when so many wooden boats lined up.

Choose a spot that is considered appropriate, waiting for the moment the sun rises. The sky is already orange, indicating that the sun will soon shine. During blue hour like this, it turns out that the rows of wooden boats leaning against the harbor actually form a beautiful silhouette.

Between the combination of orange and blue colors in the sky, it seems that on the eastern horizon the sun is starting to shine behind the clouds. Very unexpected, a magnificent sight that I have never seen before. Watching the sun rise between the masts of the ship which slowly gets higher and brighter, is very eye-catching.

Amazed and very admiring to be able to watch the sunrise in this morning. Thankful for the many blessings that God has given us all.
