Hi!
Last Monday Vera and I took Ninnu with us, and we drove some 200 kilometers south-west near Turku, to meet Ninnu's "fiancé", Heimer.
When I gave Ninnu her morning walk I noticed there was a late blooming flower pushing up through the dead autumn leaves.
(Scentless mayweed Tripleurospermum inodorum)
We let the boys prepare microwave dinners after school while we were away.
On the way to meet Heimer, we saw this (very) late blooming Lupine on the side of the road:
Blue-pod lupine (Lupinus polyphyllus)
I wonder if the autumns are getting warmer... (Something to do with a climate change I gather.)
Heimer
This photo was taken after Ninnu and Heimer met, after I had taken Ninnu back to the car and picked up my camera.
Heimer was already a bit puzzled as where Ninnu had gone.
Everything happened quite quick, and because it was pretty cold, getting dark, and had started raining, we took off after finalizing the paperworks.
When we drove back, it was already pitch dark.
See ya!
