Hi!

So, having started feeling bored for being trapped inside every day, I went outside to shoot for a change. The weather was great for photos. It wasn't raining, but everything was wet. The sky was mostly overcast, and the lighting was pretty good for the few hours we had light.

It wasn't without a few problems though.

I had once again forgotten the memory card home, so I had to drive about 20 kilometers to Sysmä, to a general store to buy myself an SD-Card. I bought two. One for the camera, and one to have in the car if I ever forgot the card again. (Very likely, so one has to come prepared.

Also, after having bought the SD-Cards, and finding a proper place to park my car for a nice scenery shot I started setting up the tripod... only to find out that I had borrowed it to Leo a day or two before, and the camera tripod attachment bit was attached to his camera, at home.

So my plan to take amazingly sharp scenery photos with a small aperture, and any further plans to shoot longer than about an hour (when there was still enough light) were swiftly smashed.

At least there was still some light left for the time being, so I quickly took some freehand lakescapes.

And then I quickly drove to the place where I was originally planning to take photos, but had noticed the card was missing.

There were some lingonberries there.

But as the sky got dimmer, I started losing motivation. Plenty had gone wrong, and it was reminding me of a game of Go that had gone wrong from the very first moves. I didn't have the will of fire in me anymore.

I took a couple more snapshots, and then left.

After leaving, I stopped in Vääksy, to visit the French Café in that nice pink building, and had a nice cup of coffee before heading home.
