What a long, strange trip it's been.
Life, online communities, work, and other life stuff. It's hard to believe that it's been almost a decade now since this journey started. It's also hard to believe that it's been five months since my last post. I remember posting daily, for years. I remember when the crypto price dropped and so many quit posting, while I kept pushing on daily. It seems so long ago, and yet, in the grand scheme of things, it hasn't really been that long.
From Humble Beginnings...
When I first ventured into this community in mid-2016, this is what I looked like. It was a long time ago, and I was a fresh transplant to the Ozarks. I was gardening, enjoying the wildlife, and venturing into online content creation and crypto. Back then, I came across others online like @ballinconscious, never realizing that years later, I'd look rather similar in some ways...
In those day, I even went out of my way to look more like @meesterboom. It took a lot of effort, but I pulled it off.
So, what now then? I simply show those photos to represent change over time. It's been a long that many of us have been here. Many have come, many have left. The community fractured and fragmented, and we've had our ups and downs. For me, this community is why I came online in the first place, and why I started created online content. Since then there have been posts, photos, videos, and even books. Y'all have been a huge blessing in my life, and I am grateful. Anyway, I expect to post more regularly. There is no way that it'll be daily, but it should at least be weekly. If you're still out there, I'm glad to hear it. Be blessed.

For sure, still out there, still reading your posts! Glad to see you're back (or rather still here, too). Yeah, the blockchain keeps going through changes, and many great ones have left. Others are exploring different sides of themselves, or are just keeping low. As for myself, I also feel much less of the excitement and enthusiasm I remember having when I first joined. Like that survival game you created, one of the first interactive things that got me super psyched about this (that is the previous) blockchain.
Anyway, I'm glad you have not become completely inactive. Looking forward to more of your posts!
Hey @stortebeker - Glad you're still out there too! I miss that game too, and it's been a lot of fun over the years. I was just thinking about time and changes too, and realized that I had four children when I first joined.... now I have 9, LOL. What an interesting time. Be blessed!

Oh yes @builderofcastles - Lots of energy over the years, and I've been blessed by investing that time and effort. I was just realizing that I have more than double the @little-peppers that I had when I started on the blockchain, and when I started I had 4. What a crazy way to measure time!
