I am fully aware of the farce of global warming, but that doesn't change the fact that our planet is being stripped and polluted by humans and leaving behind a smaller carbon footprint will only improve the condition of Earth. The term carbon footprint itself is a valid term, and not directly tied to proponents of global warming, just tied to conservation consciousness in general. I had almost this same conversation yesterday - for the people who don’t believe in climate change, do they think producing products that don’t breakdown for centuries like plastic, polluting the planet and rampant consumerism are good things? Even if the warming of the sea doesn’t have a cause, is it desirable to use up every non-renewal energy source?

You don't get it. "Carbon Footprint" indicates that "Carbon" would be something bad, something you need to reduce, but "Carbon" is the source of all matter, and not the smog you see in the city...
So no ,"Carbon Footprint" is a 100% brainwashed Term for the Think Tanks created by Al Gore & Co.
