I haven't watched your video so I apologize for the off the cuff suggestion if you've already considered this, but have you seen people use Styrofoam shredded mixed in with concrete for walls? It seems like a very good way to build such structures with, lightweight and insulating, albeit I imagine only slightly, yet the thing I saw as a definite bonus was the reduction of material. Some guy on YouTube made a shed out of it.
