Good day fellow Hivers! It's a new day, a new beginning, and the start of a new chapter once again. When I have classes, I usually wake up around 4 in the morning to prepare for my upcoming classes. I need to wake up early because I have to travel for a few hours before reaching school.

As usual, after waking up, I prepared my food, then took a shower and got dressed. In the morning, I usually don't eat breakfast ; instead, I just bring snacks like bread or biscuits to fill my stomach. Before 6 o'clock, I should have already left home to avoid being late for class.

Upon arriving at school, as soon as I entered the classroom, the first person I saw was an elderly woman teaching beautiful lessons about Jesus. I thought I was late, but luckily, I wasn't, and I hadn't seen my instructor yet.

The woman introduced herself and said that it was their scheduled day for teaching their religion subject. So, I attentively listened to her teachings and ensured to keep an eye on the students to prevent any misbehavior.

After the class ended, the teacher promptly left and mentioned that she would be teaching in another classroom next. I, along with the whole class, thanked her, and she left.

Later, I received a chat message from my instructor, informing me she would attend class in the afternoon due to ongoing practice for an upcoming contest at another school. She outlined the day's tasks and reminded me about an impending earthquake drill.

Additionally, she requested that I photograph the students for their weekly report. I assured her I would comply with her instructions before putting my phone away.

Continuing with the class, I covered a new mathematics topic with the students. Several hours passed before I heard a loud bell ring, signaling the start of the drill.

Following what I remembered about earthquake drills, I instructed the students to hide under their desks and cover their heads. The children obeyed, and I waited for the signal indicating when the students would leave the room. When I noticed other students leaving their classrooms, I directed my own students to get ready and form two groups for better organization.

Once outside the room, I seated them in a safer area and taught them what they should do. When the drill instructor began teaching, all of us listened attentively to him.

Due to the extreme heat at that time, the instructor allowed them to find shade to avoid getting hurt by the sun.Upon hearing the instructor's words, the students started looking for shade to shield themselves from the sun's heat.

Following my instructor's instructions, I took photos of the students and messaged her the snapshots I captured. A few minutes passed before the drill ended, and it was successful. I then called my supervised students and lined them up to re-enter their rooms.

After resuming our class, we continued until it was time for their break.

Prior to their recess, I called upon the designated prayer leader to bless their meals. They had 30 minutes to enjoy their packed lunches and engage in activities of their choice.

Once their break began, I also began working on the book we were going to submit next week. Time passed swiftly, and I reminded everyone to sit properly as we prepared to resume class.

During this period, I assigned them activities to complete for the day. The students were compliant, and they promptly began working on their tasks. As they completed their activities, it was time for their morning class to conclude, so I permitted them to leave after reminding them of their responsibilities.

In the afternoon, my instructor arrived and advised me to eat and attend to my tasks. I expressed my gratitude and departed.

Every time I step out of the room, I can't help but realize how tiring being a teacher can be. But despite constantly thinking about it, I still can't help but aspire to become a teacher someday.Teaching children is truly fulfilling, especially when you see them learning from you.

However, it can also be exhausting at times, especially when there are so many of them and not all students have the same capabilities to understand your lessons immediately. So, it can be draining sometimes. But I am still thankful for experiencing these challenges because I know they will help me in the future. That's why, when you become a teacher, you need to have a lot of patience.

The day proceeded smoothly, and I encountered no conflicts or misconduct from the students.

Wooooooo, I just saw a familiar face, @mswhimsical! 😂 The one wearing a green shirt is Niel, my cousin's son. HAHAHAHAHA, what a small world it is.

Now I can really say that the world is really small @jeannmazing . I never imagined that he was the chubby kid from the province. I didn't recognize him because he was quiet in the room.
