We wanted to update you on the issues we've been facing since last week.
Database & Server Issues
We experienced an unavoidable database failure and server corruption, which caused one of our machines to affect the entire 3Speak platform, leading to major disruptions on the site.
Storage System Issue
Additionally, this caused a problem with our IPFS storage system cluster, making it impossible to upload new videos. While this issue is ongoing, we are actively working on replacing the failing system with a more reliable solution. Please note that existing videos and data have not been impacted.
Fix Timeline
We're making good progress and expect to resolve both issues by the end of this week or weekend.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to get everything back up and running smoothly.

I thought 3Speak is about decentralizing the video storage, so that exactly such a situation is avoided? Is 3Speak still fully centralized?

I don't know much about treespeak video upload. I would like to know more about its usage. Which will enhance my posts here with videos.
How do I post via video upload to the community?

Did this affect auth servers? I had to hold off recommending to someone because I couldn't verify that it works. My android app still is flashing 'something went wrong' when I open it or retry.
