I used to be able to download videos from the 3speak site...has that option been removed or is it something I am missing?
Thanks for any help and sorry if this is the wrong spot to ask, it's just something I've been thinking of...I like to archive them on 3apeak, then later upload to YouTube, for example.
Yes. That feature has been removed. It was being misused by banned users & users who are spamming. People are uploading NetFlix seasons, pirated contents etc. After that, they use 3Speak to download.
Always keep the original copy of the video saved with you, if you wish to upload it somewhere else.
Note: My comments are my personal opinions.
Ah, too bad... That was one of the best features of 3speak, I thought-being able to get a friend to download a long video that's hard to send\don't want to keep uploading it.
I never downloaded any Hollywood junk, although I did see a few random channels that were obviously abusing the service (but few and far between, I thought)
Hopefully I can find a way to download the files still somehow.... Or you remake that feature based on someones reputation score, perhaps?... That could be cool.

IN MY OPINION, that itself is a misuse of 3Speak.
3Speak isn't meant for File Sharing.
If you want your friend to download a long video, please use other file-sharing-utilities like dropbox or box or any other tool.
