Ridiculous wind. Utterly riiiiiidiiiiiiculous. So ridiculous that it makes ridiculous seem ridiculously ridiculous. Well attached tent though. That tent really is against that ridiculous wind. The tent despises the ridiculous wind.
P.S.
Thanks @otherbrandt! Space Cow Boi will now cover you from ridiculous winds. As long as you have your well attached tent with you.
It is 100% drunken laughter, just like in the how to drive good video I posted a couple months ago. I have plans to turn this into the stupidest series ever.
The wind didn't let up for like 3 days and I was half expecting the tent to blow away but it didn't. Lucky me.
LOL, I remember that video and was reminded of it when I watched this one. Keep going with your series, I'm loving it.
Three days of wind like that? You have your tenting down solid. I just bought a hammock tent, never tried that kind before. I was picturing how it would be swinging in the wind, probably turn me into a kite.
Yeah, it just didn't let up. I was checking my tent pegs every hour or so during the day and hammering them back in as the wind pulled them out. At night I figured my body weight would hold things down even if the pegs ripped out, and I was correct because I woke up one morning and two of the four corners were completely loose. It was a weird three days. I couldn't move the tent because if I tried that the wind was so strong it would have blown it away in the process. And I couldn't park my car in front of the tent to block the wind because there wasn't enough room to do that where I'd pitched it. So I just stayed and watched and waited 😆
That's intense wind. You did an amazing job, every freaking hour, wow! My body weight would never cut the mustard to hold much of anything down. I think if you'd try to move it, you would have ended up hang-gliding with your tent. Nothing else to do, than wait it out.
I just bought a hammock tent. In that environment, I would have been airborne in seconds.
This is so stupid I'm not even gonna bother finishing this senten
sentence element?
Oh boy you are sententious.
Indeed, and pompously so!

I love these sentences. And words. Pompously is an awesome word. Now I'm hungry. Thank goodness for pizza, though. :)

So ridiculous that it permanently bent my tent poles. Three days of that nonstop barrage, no joke. Where was Space Cow Boi when I needed him? :)

I think he was on another planet.
Is that laughing or crying or laugh crying that I hear? I was waiting for the tent to go into lift off in those winds but you staked it down tight.
