A few days ago, we lost another poet of Bangla literature. Eventually, another life surrendered to the deadly coronavirus. Shankha Ghosh died of both old age and infected by coronavirus on the 21st of this month. He was poet, teacher and a critic. He had been teaching at various reputed colleges and universities in Kolkata for a long time. You can find more information about him from Wikipedia-
Shankha Ghosh (born Chittapriyo Ghosh, 5 February 1932 – 21 April 2021)was an Indian poet and critic. Ghosh got his undergraduate degree in Arts in Bengali language from the Presidency College, Kolkata, Kolkata in 1951 and subsequently his master's degree from the University of Calcutta in the year 1954.

I recited several of his poems today as a token of respect for this gifted poet. In his poems, the sense of life has emerged in a strong way. When you will read his poems will find the philosophy of life. সেতু (Shetu) is one of his poems I have recited today. No one will be able to understand without reading this poem about the crisis of life and the distance is created by neglecting each other.
