I'm working on optimizing the uploading server. If everything works as planned, uploads should be 3 times faster with this setup. I'm ripping a page off youtube's resumable uploads system and thus, we will get a little closer to their experience. (sadly without their infra getting there is a tall ask)
As long as we chip away at the issues, and improve 3speak consistently, the experience will be more than optimal for our purposes.
As of me writing this, im at 20% of a 500 megabyte upload, about 4,5 minutes have passed so far. Obviously users with faster connections will be able to get even more out of the improved system.
so i'd say it took about 15-18 min or so... for the upload.. not bad
