The exciting adventure of touching things.

Who doesn't like to touch a rough wall and think deep thoughts, I present my humble collection of textures, straight from the bottom of the embarrassment drawer.

Nature photography offers endless opportunities to explore and capture textures. By focusing on these details, you can create images that not only represent the landscape, but also tell a story about the connection between the natural elements. Nature photography is an art that goes beyond simply capturing beautiful landscapes; it is about exploring and highlighting the complexity and beauty of natural elements.

Textures often have a symbolic meaning. For example, weathered wood can represent wisdom and strength, while water can symbolise life and change.

Soft textures, such as sand, can convey a sense of peace and tranquillity.

Strength and resilience, rough and rugged textures, such as tree bark or rocks, can evoke feelings of strength and endurance.

Delicacy and fragility, such as the petals of a flower or the wings of a butterfly, can convey a sense of fragility and beauty.

Mystery and adventure can be experienced with rock formations or cloud patterns, they can awaken our curiosity and sense of adventure.

Textures are not only seen, but also felt. Imagine the sensation of walking barefoot on freshly cut grass. These physical sensations translate into specific emotions.

They transcend cultural and linguistic barriers, connecting with us on a deep emotional level and evoking personal memories. Textures are like the pages of a book that tells the story of our planet. Each layer, each mark, is a chapter in the long narrative.
