My wife is pretty religious about cleaning the house. I didn't quite get it when we were first married, but now I fully understand it takes so little time as long as you keep up with it. We can have the majority of the house cleaned in less than half an hour on a Saturday morning because we keep up on it so much. We don't make the bed every day though!
It's the best way to go for sure.
As for bed making...it makes no sense to make it considering we're getting back into it but I'll admit it looks nice and it makes my girlfriend happy to make it so...I just go with it.
Yes, I will concede that, it does look nice when it is all made up. We do make up the bed each morning in our travel trailer when we are camping. I'm not sure what the difference is :)
