The Day After is the story of one city that attempts to recover from the damages caused by a nuclear missile strike. We all know about the nuclear destruction caused by the USA. This cinema is a powerful and deeply disturbing testament to the folly of pro-military hawks. They always believed that annihilation was a justifiable means of attaining power and control. It's a very disturbing cinema. It was released in 1983 but its worth watching even today.
