Monday is here again, the work - tagged day after a weekend of relaxation for some though. My Monday is already seeming like a boring one compared to how I spent my weekend but there's a reason to it. It was announced about two weeks ago that my final year lectures would be starting today and I've been preparing my mind to start with excitement and hoping not to have issues with any of my new courses.
Well, this is the lecture room that's supposed to be filled with students and a lecturer giving his course outline or something to keep the students busy. I've been in school for almost two hours and we're yet to meet any of our new courses lecturers. I can't believe I felt I was running late for lectures this morning only to come meet an almost empty lecture hall.
I was trying to imagine the extent of boredom this girl would be having to have slept off while waiting for the so called lecturer. I caught myself smiling to myself because I hardly fall asleep in classes no matter how boring it seem, maybe because my mind is just asking me to go home and sleep instead. The day I tried such, I heard a very important class held while I was at home sleeping... You can imagine the sad face I gave.
Well, while waiting I decided to take more pictures of myself, the empty class and also do stuffs online to keep myself busy, it was hard to write this post as my fellow course mates were busy making so much noise but it's fine. You won't blame us anymore, we came for lectures but the lecturers decided not to come do their work.
Our lectures for Monday is supposed to take from this morning till evening and I'm already bored and worried if I'm wasting my time being in school or not. I'll just wait and hear from our class leader to know what to do about it.
I was wondering how I'll cope with Hive now that lectures would be starting soon but if it's going to be like this for the next two weeks, I'd rather get materials and stay at home... What do you think? It's so boring!!!
That's it for what's going on here and I'm still hoping a lecturer would just walk in and let's get started with my final year in school. All the best to me!!!

wow! I personally think it's appalling that the lecturers didn't show up to school and without any reason or apology being provided for their absence. I think you expected too much on the first day in your final session in school. First days are always like this. As a finalist, you shouldn't be too much anxious having gone through that experience before.
It's a feeling though that all your dreams will soon come to reality.

Lol it's only typical for a first day at school. I'm sure the lecturers are too used to the holiday and they're lazy to come to class, same with the students. Some would even add more weeks to their holiday before eventually resuming, haha.

The school announces resumption and you are there for the first week. Lol, very unlike me. I either resume a week after or two weeks after and funny enough, I would be around but would not go to class 😅😂…
Like tomorrow, I am not going to class but I went today. I am giving myself one day on and off 😅😂..
😂 Actually I didn't go through out last week and now I'm thinking of not going after submitting tomorrow assignment... I can't keep wasting my tfare to a no lecture halls

Thank you, because the time you were bored you fine something else doing. It happens every where in school, there are some lecturers that are lazy to do their work. Some will come and teach close to the exams period which is not fair at all .

Final year or first year you always feel the same if there is no lecture on the first day itself. I suggest you gang up with the rest of the students available in the class and play dumb charades. That's a lot of fun 😂

It gives so much anger when you are there for the class and the lecturer is not there. It happened to me I didn't take the university bus because of a class in the afternoon and when reached to the class we found out that the lecturer was not there. Urggggh, then I had to go by public bus for which I had to walk a lot.
I hope your semester won't proceed this way and you will have classes that won't make you sleep.
