I'm currently working on building
LinguaHills Community (linguistic ecosystem for Hive)

there's nothing there published yet. I was planning to build an MVP
(minimum viable product) and then show it to community.
there are 3+ aspects of that linguistic ecosystem:

1. human voices database (this is what I'm currently working on)
2. translation service
3. Virtual cultures
   and some others

The 3rd one is similar to what you introduced with
this Language Exchange community.

I'm a single person behind that LinguaHills initiative
and would search for like-minded people anyway.
I liked what you described in this post, I don't see a reason to create one more Virtual cultures (like your Language Exchange) initiative from scratch, and I'd like to ask if you are interested to collaborate. Possibly we could unite the efforts, exchange ideas and work in one direction.
