It's Never Too Late .:. Christmas Lights Collection

It looks like I like to do things literally in the last minutes/seconds of a due... 😃 For example, I decided to join the December's Christmas lights initiative by the Hive Collectors community... It's still December, and I have plenty of time to do the post before it runs out... 😂

I have another example of doing things in the last minute... Whenever I have time, I enjoy joining the PYPT show on DreemPort Discord, hosted by @shadowspub. When everyone runs out of powder presenting their Hive posts, I like to jump in and show some of the posts I found during the week, usually created by my friend Hivians... It became kind of a tradition... 😃

This time, when it's almost time to take off the Christmas lights, I have decided to put them up on my blog and share with you guys! 😃 It's never too late... 🌲

a small square very close to my home

Let me share with you a small collection of Christmas lights that I collected in my recent walks around the town where I currently live... First dozen-ish photos, but also a couple of them from other towns where I was strolling around the streets...

I got a couple of photos while I was walking toward the main square, but there are a few smaller squares and parks that had interesting decorations too... This big metal ball with Spanish words is actually a regular "sculpture" that is always on this small square... Some nice motivational messages... Check them out...

These big red Christmas tree balls were at the entrance to the main town square...

This is our "main" Christmas tree... I have seen nicer, but for a small town, it's nice, especially knowing there are other decorations around the city...

On the same square, we had this "typical" Christmas box where you can take photos with your loved one(s)... I have no idea why it was forbidden at the moment when I was there, but you could do it on other days... 😃

Let's move to another, smaller square/park in town and to my favorite decoration of this "season"... This golden bell looks so cool and fits perfectly in the ambiance of this park... It's not that "aggressive" or too colorful...

At one of the entrances to the park, you can find these big present boxes, and a big Santa's shoe!

Speaking of shoes... A few decades ago, this town was one of the most famous ones for shoe production in Spain, if not even in Europe... New models were designed here, and there was (and still is) an annual event where the best shoe producers in Spain are awarded! Unfortunately, only that ceremony is still running, while the shoe factories have moved to China and other countries with cheaper labor... 😒

Now, let's move to our "brother" town, which is literally split from us by a couple of streets...

As I was on this walk with the already mentioned Hvian, @deepresearch, I didn't take too many photos... Only these 4-5 from a small square in the town...

During the summer, on this square and the streets around, there is a huge art event where you can meet painters from the area, buy handmade crafts, or learn how to do them!

Now that I mentioned another Hivian, I remembered that this year's Christmas "began" during the HiveBeeCon in Krakow this year! While we were (photo) walking around the town, I saw the shop where you can buy some unique souvenirs, not those standard magnets, postcards, or similar...

I don't know how old you are, but I remember these typical Christmas tree decorations that I haven't seen in over a decade! Nowadays, these "ornaments" are different, simpler, but when I was a kid, they were like these, and they were so fragile.... Speaking of that, being a curious kid, I was always wondering how these ornaments look inside... 😂

Let's move to the seaside for a while, in a town where I lived until recently... The main promenade has been renovated just recently, but you will see a red Christmas tree somewhere in the middle of the photo above... Unfortunately, the lights were off for some reason, maybe the electricity issues caused by renovations, not sure...

That evening/night, I was walking to the next town to see what it looked like... Also by the sea, I have found this "Christmas portal", but I didn't try to go through... Who knows where it leads... Maybe to Santa's secret North Pole base?

The next stop was this awesome Christmas tree, which isn't the main in town, but it looks gorgeous...

I also remember that specific walk was a bit exhausting as I was walking for 2 hours without stopping, so I decided to take a break and recover with this chocolate-coffee mix, full of sugar! hahahahah... I needed more energy to finish that day!

Well, that would be all for this "lightning" post... And it's not all for this post, but for this year too!
