I find that everytime I write a post for one of @mipiano's challenges, I end up doing a lot of work for it. In my last procrastination post I had to return some items back to the shop, and for this t-shirt collection post, I had to iron my clothes for the photos. I bought an iron 3 years ago, and this is the only second time I've used it. I mean I could have just taken photos of the wrinkly t-shirts, but those who read my last post, already know I don't do much housework, so I didn't want to give people the impression I'm a very sloppy person. I have to keep up my reputation on the chain!!!! Now the ironing is done, I can showcase some of my T-shirt collection.
I'm going to start with my favourite T-shirt, my embroidered girl. Please excuse the state she's in, I had to fish her out from the dirty laundry basket for the photo shot. If I remember correctly I bought this in Thailand when I went to Steemfest some years ago. Embroidered girl is my favourite t-shirt, not only because of her cool and sassy look, but more importantly because she is blinged up with sparkles giving her a 3D look. I have to be very careful when I wash her so the sparkles don't fall off.
Uniqlo does some really cool t-shirt and lots of collaborations. This one is a colab with the Swedish cartoon Moomin. This is one of the characters from the cartoon, called Little My, described as "small but fierce, fiery and independent". Ha ha! I think that sounds a little like me 😅
Continuing with the girl theme, how about Girl Power!!? This is a fun t-shirt and, amazingly, I always feel a little more confident when I wear it. Great power message when I need a little boost. The only thing I don't like about the t-shirt is how the fabric twists. If you look at the seam on the right hand side, instead of going straight down, it's swerved to the front left, and the seam on the other side is swerved to the back. I think this has to do with the quality of the fabric and how it's woven.
I've had this A&F T-shirt for years. My hubby bought it for me in America just around when A&F started to go global and became a cool item, and way before their CEO's sex exploitation scandal. The quality of clothing back then was much better quality compared to their stuff in recent years, but it's still starting to show sign of aging such as the small holes on the neck line. I don't wear this much now and am saving it as a vintage item.
Hubby has more t-shirts than me and some are really cool, I decided to raid his collection and share some of them here.
This one I think we also got in Thailand, on the same trip as embroidered girl. It's having a dig at the Vietnamese traffic, but the same can equally apply to many other Asian countries, including Thailand where traffic is a mess. I'm sure anyone's who's traffic at home is more organised will resonate with this when they visit Vietnam.
Hubby is a geek and he loved this t-shirt the moment he saw it. It's simple and effective and has struck up some good random conversations with strangers quite a few times already.
We bought the next two t-shirts on our recent trip to America. They're from Walmart and only cost about $6 each, very good value. Walmart had a bunch of cool t-shirts, especially in men's and kids size. Women's was less interesting. The two hubby bought are silly but fun, and I think that's what t-shirts are all about. If you wanted something formal and smart you'd wear a shirt.
Which was your favorite t-shirt out of the above? And do you have some cool and interesting ones at home you want to share?

This is a beautiful and cool collection 🤩
Thanks
My fav is Embroidered t-shirt. The first one. Also, the second. Seems both of them have comfortable and have cool/calm effect on the skin. :)
So, you already burn more calories for this post by using an iron.
You what, I rarely using iron too 🤣 just for formal event like wedding party ehehe. But yeah mostly my dress not be mess up because I wash them with hand, not machine, also not using dry tools. So my drees keep neat. :)
The fact I don't have an iron board made ironing the clothes more difficult
I think you get less crease by hand washing clothes but you may have realised, I'm too lazy to do that 😂
your embroidered girl wins the price! she is adorable!
and what a great idea for the post, @mipiano! I think I should join it too. besides, I got a handheld steamer a few years ago, so now I use iron very rare (don't remember the last time).
The idea was whispered into my ears by the lady with the embroidered girl T-shirt ;)
So, I hope that we will see your collection too. You don't have to use the iron hahaha
I have a whole month! 😊
You do 😇
Why didn't you tell me I could show shabby wrinkled t-shirts? It would have saved me a lot of work!!!🥴
Hey, all of them are OP. If I had to pick one, it would be the last one. Liked it's message.
Yeah, I think that's a great one as well!
The first one and the third one are really cool ones. That female superman on the shirt looks good
Press iron on a bit of wet shirts and you won't see those wrinkles which still appear after your efforts 😂
I couldn't work out how the hot steam function operators on my iron and couldn't be bothered to read the manual 😅
These designs are awesome. Just last night I was thinking how much I do miss my funky t-shirts that I had in the Philippines.
I need to update my wardrobe with some new ones:)))
Time for shopping!! You must be a little short of wardrobe space now, need to make sure you select the best of the best.
Now I feel guilty 😂😂😂
But your iron now feels happy that it was used for a cool purpose - for this post 😎
Your husband's T-shirts are bringing funny messages, I laughed with all of them but your ones are so cute that actually your section wins here 😍
I'm actually quite jealous of his cool and whacky t-shirts, they're a great ice breaker. But of course, embroidered girl is still my favourite
I like the 1st and last... "I'm disturb enough already", haha ...
Your iron is finally put to work.. 😁

I'm surprised Walmart does such good value and fun t-shirts, it was a nice find
Wow, the first tshirt is very cute. The embroidery is unique. I love it all but the first one is my fave😊
So much hand work has gone on the first t-shirt making it so special, I if I have time I might do something similar on my other T-shirts
Wow sounds great. I will wait for that update 😊
😂
I need one like this, for work, so that everyone who approaches to ask something is immediately clear...
As I already wrote in the comment of the mipiano post, in the next days I will join with my collection of favorite shirts.
Imagine wearing that at work, when people ask you a question and you turn round to them and don't say anything, that would be hilarious!!! I'd love to see your colleagues reaction 😁
Look forward to seeing your t-shirt collection!
This red card is already stuck on my monitor, translated as "Do not disturb" 😂
With that shirt, I would be a hit (or I'd be called by HR to hand over my resignation) 🙂
Haha, oh, woman... what a way to make me laugh with this.
I can clearly see that you don't have much practice in this ironing business.
😁
Now I have practiced twice, maybe I can start my iron service and get some return on my investment. I might make a few bucks whilst Hive is swimming in the river
I hate ironing. I have an iron that is at least 15 years old, unused. Besides, I don't know how to do it well either. 😅
😉
Everything will come back up, with more strength!
That's why it was a familiar lady!!! I went through the post to see photos before reading and I knew that I had seen this lady before!!! Moomin was a cartoon that we "served" to our son to watch when he was small... :) Definitely, THAT one is my favorite!
Apparently, it looks like I have to create a collection of my T-shirts soon... Who to "blame" for that? You or mipiano? 😜
Definitely blame Mrs ph1102!!
I noticed your t-shirts didn't feature in her post, that's definitely a sign that you must write your own
ha! The Occasional Adult one is priceless. As is Embroidered Girl <3
Those last two are quite hilarious, so simple yet effective. I think we all need that bit of stupidity sometimes
I've always told myself so, at least. It keeps one going, even if sideways.
I liked the last one. I am going to have to look for one of those over here. I think my second favorite is the thinking one. Thanks for sharing your t-shirts. They were really neat.
We got it back in May when we were in America , hopefully they're still in stock, or maybe they have more whacky ones now. Be great to see what you find!
I like the "thinking..." shirt.
You know, I don't think I've actually worn a t-shirt in a few decades at this point. Sometime around high school I started wearing button down shirts instead and I've just continued to do so ever since.
My kids love their tshirts though. Given where we live, you might be able to guess their favorite shirt if I tell you they like baseball... They both have Ohtani shirts and wear them as much as possible.
Now I really got this image of a teacher in my head!
The thing with button down shirts is that you need to iron them after every wash and that was an hours work every week when we were both working in a proper office environment. Now we try to minimise as much work as possible 😉
I'm not familiar with baseball and just googled Ohtani. I can understand why your kids like him, he sounds like a very good player!
Occasional adult !!
Yup, need that in us occasionally 😄
Sounds like my Mom Lily, the two of you would have made a formidable team and fixed this old world for sure! Little My looks very fierce indeed.
The embroidered girl would be my choice, she's gorgeous!
Loved your t-shirts! Especially (maybe because the way we drive here... :) the traffic sign one! :)
Ironing is one of the house chores I refuse to waste time on; if needed, I rather keep economy flowing and pay someone to do it.
