Hello friends of Hive Collectors blessed week, I hope everyone is well. This is my participation to the contest proposed by my friend @mipiano. Thanks to this contest were many memories that came to my mind.

It's amazing that sometimes we have so many things in our lives, and with the daily hustle and bustle, we overlook that they are already part of us. If for a moment we would stop and reflect on those moments of the things that surround us and especially if they are our mugs. These faithful companions that have been present in every phase of our lives, from the coffee shared with laughter to the comforting tea in sad moments, a hot oatmeal on rainy days and many other experiences that could tell unforgettable stories, such as those of movie characters.

Hola amigos de Hive Collectors bendecida semana, espero todos esten bien. Esta es mi participación al concurso propuesto por la amiga @mipiano. Gracias a este concurso fueron muchos los recuerdos que vinieron a mi mente.

Es increíble que algunas veces tenemos tantas cosas en nuestra vida, y con el ajetreo diario, pasamos por alto que ya forman parte de nosotros. Si por un momento nos detuviéramos y reflexionáramos sobre esos momentos de las cosas que nos rodean y en especial si son nuestras tazas. Estas fieles compañeras que han estado presentes en cada fase de nuestra vida, desde el café compartido entre risas hasta el reconfortante té en momentos tristes, una avena caliente en días lluviosos y muchas otras experiencias que podrían contar historias inolvidables, como la de los personajes de películas.

These mugs have many years with me, I have taken great care of them, it was the first gift my husband gave me, when we moved to our apartment and that was many years ago. I have heard that one should not keep anything, but use them; because special moments are every day. But I think it is necessary to always have something new and well presented for visitors. That's why they are only a few times a year that they are steaming in the kitchen, they are always kept for special occasions.

Estas tazas tienen muchos años conmigo, las he cuidado mucho, fue el primer regalo que me hizo mi esposo, cuando nos mudamos a nuestro apartamento y eso fue hace muchos años. He escuchado que uno no debe guardar nada, sino usarlas; porque los momentos especiales son todos los días. Pero creo que es necesario tener siempre algo nuevo y bien presentado para las visitas. Por eso, ellas son pocas veces en el año que andan humeando en la cocina, siempre están guardaditas para las ocasiones especiales.

I bought these 4 girls in a Chinese store. When I saw them I said: I buy them, it was love at first sight, I could not come without them. I love their colors, their shape, size and style, they look like ceramic, but they are made of plastic. Since I bought them, their colors remain intact, I know they will be with me for a long time.

Compré estas 4 chicas en una tienda china. Cuando las vi dije: Me las compro, fue amor a primera vista, no podía venirme sin ellas. Me encantan sus colores, su forma, tamaño y estilo, parecen de cerámica, pero son de plástico. Desde que las compré, sus colores permanecen intactos, sé que me acompañarán durante mucho tiempo.

This mug is another favorite of mine, it's big enough for a nice serving of hot oatmeal. It was given to me at church for Mother's Day, I take great care of it, I like its flowers, they give a nice calming feeling.

One of the few things I keep from the cottage is this mug. After friends visited my house and took all my kitchen utensils and coffee mugs. This one was saved because on the last trip I left it forgotten at my sister's place.

And we come to this one, the smallest one, my old lady. As I tell you, she is after the first coffee, she is the perfect dose not to consume more than necessary, she is very old. When she was given to me as a gift, she already had many years with that person, and I think she has a lot of life left in her now.

Y llegamos a esta, la más chiquita, mi viejita. Como le digo, ella está luego del primer café, es la dosis perfecta para no consumir más de la cuenta, tiene muchos años. Cuando me la regalaron, ya tenía muchos años con esa persona, y creo que ahora es que le queda vida.
