Keyrings tend to decorate a key or several keys or are simply a good way to make the key not so small that it gets lost.

I love key rings, especially if they are handmade, although there are some that are not and that by their design or meaning represent a lot to me.

My mother among the many crafts she has done, she made many key chains, I think it is one of the first things she learned to do.

But not only for that purpose, but many of them were key rings and people, even myself, used them as ornaments for handbags. Yes, ornaments and you don't know how nice they look decorating a bag and making noises.

At one time my mother used to make key rings or even ornaments to sell and people loved them. Of course, this was many years ago and we were in Argentina.

I also had many of her works, only one key ring, but many ornaments for bags.
Of course I don't have all of them with me, but I have some of them.

When I heard about the initiative, I didn't really remember how many I had. But I searched, counted and ordered my mother's and two of my brother's which are super nice to show you, in addition to mine.

Only one of them I have in use for my keys, of course it's the one with the butterfly and the heart.

That key ring was made for me by my mother, and it has gone through many changes, first it was a pink butterfly, then red and now it is yellow and the decoration of the heart has also changed. The use makes it wear out and the truth is that I love it, I love butterflies.

Today I wanted to start by talking about the key ring that I use all the time, it's the one that holds the keys to my flat, my front door and my letterbox and I love it.

The following two key rings were also made by my mother and can be used both for that purpose, but also as bag ornaments and they look super nice. They are very big and loud for those who like them, and they can be made in one tone or with matching or contrasting colour tones.

The following purple key ring was a gift from a student, when I was teaching in Argentina. She gave it to me for a birthday, it is very beautiful, but it can also be used as an ornament.

This key ring has a very special meaning for me. It was given to me by my drawing and painting teacher on the occasion of the farewell they gave me before I left for Spain. I will always treasure this key ring, as I adore my teacher Gloria and she knows it.

A leather keyring that has been with me for many years, it is a souvenir that my brother brought me back from a trip to the city of Esquel, Argentina. He went with the school to a work camp with all his classmates and bought this keyring for me.

These last two key rings I borrowed from my brother, because they are really beautiful, in my opinion.

I gave one to him as a present and it consists of El Quixote's hat, and among the many that were in the souvenir shop, he chose that one and it is really beautiful.

The other was a gift that his Chinese boss brought him when he travelled to China a short time ago and as my brother is of the sign of the pig, in the Chinese horoscope, he brought him this double-sided key ring. Of course he wears both together with the keys, he didn't despise either.
