How To Make Black Sesame Sweet Potatoes Chips

Sweet potato snacks with a crunchy texture are perfect as a dish for chatting or even accompanying you to watch at home with your family, chips that have a crunchy texture, savory, sweet and very good to enjoy in various daily life at home. I usually make use of snacks like this during family gatherings, or even when chatting with my mom. Yeah, lately my mom has been my closest friend at home, she's been the one I tell a lot of things to.

Chatting lightly, without snacks or without tea is incomplete, therefore, I often make snacks later to enjoy together. Haha mom is indeed the most cool chatting friend. Well it just so happened that yesterday I shopped a lot of sweet potatoes and left 1 kg at home. As a result my mother asked me to make a crunchy snack. Without thinking, sweet potato sesame chips became the snack I chose.

Here I use sweet potato as a complementary ingredient to these chips and sesame will make it more delicious. The sesame I use is black sesame, but if you want another white sesame that's fine too, it all depends on your taste. The sweet potato also gives a natural sweetness to the chips so it is not recommended to use additional sugar.




Ingredients

250 grams of wheat flour
100 grams sweet potato
2 tablespoons black sesame seeds
4 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons tapioca flour
1 teaspoon salt




Making Procedure


Step 1


The sweet potatoes that I have prepared I cut into small pieces, then I boil them in boiling water until soft.

Step 2


After boiling soft I mash it with a fork or whatever you like.

Step 3


Next add salt and sesame seeds, stir until evenly distributed.

Step 4


Add wheat flour, cornstarch and tapioca flour.

Step 5


Then mix all the flour until well blended, then knead the dough until smooth.

Step 6


After smooth, take a little dough then flatten it lengthwise, sprinkle with flour so it doesn't stick.

Step 7


Divide into several parts and cut manually. When finished, do arrange in a plate, give a layer of flour so that it does not stick.

Step 8


Fry in plenty of oil until brownish yellow or the chips have started to crisp.

Sweet potato, sesame chips are ready to be enjoyed, serve and store in an airtight container when the chips are done frying. Make sure when after frying everything is crispy. Because the color of the sweet potato is orange, so these chips are a beautiful orange color, plus the combination of black sesame gives it more niceness when I bite into it.

There is a texture that is so pleasant when bitten crispy and not hard at all. Even when fried, these chips are bubbly and that's a sign that my chips are successful and not hard. Even my mother who can rarely enjoy chips this time she can easily enjoy it. In the evening we spent it together while watching a television program at home.

It has a very natural attractive color from sweet potato, which makes it even more beutifull. It also tastes sweet and of course has a crunchy texture.
