First Time Making Dragon Fruit Fried Rice

Rice that is colored with natural dyes always gives a different feel to every dish you prepare, right? It definitely gives you an appetite and will usually be liked by many people.




This time I will give you the latest recipe for unusual rice preparations, which will certainly give you an extraordinary surprise at the dinner table. Pink colored rice with the addition of natural fruit really makes me curious how the cooking process is and what you have to prepare, let's see below!.




Dragon Fruit Fried Rice

Dragon fruit fried rice is fried rice that is given a touch of crushed dragon fruit. The addition of cauliflower vegetables as a complementary ingredient is enough to make this very delicious. It is then served in a dragon fruit skin bowl to tempt you, with a side of fried tofu. This dish was new to me, but trust me, naturally colored food doesn't change the taste at all!.




Ingredients Used

¼ dragon fruit
1 cup white rice
¼ teaspoon salt
1 clove shallot
1 clove garlic
1 red chili pepper slice
1 celery leaf
1 teaspoon margarine




Preparation Process


Step 1


Chop all ingredients such as cauliflower, onion, and celery leaves.

Step 2


Then prepare the dragon fruit, cut it into small pieces then crush it and set it aside first.

Step 3


Heat the margarine and saute the chopped onion, chili and cauliflower in the margarine until wilted.

Step 4


Add the rice stir until evenly distributed and let it cook in the pan.
Then strain the dragon fruit directly, take the juice from the dragon fruit juice only.

Step 5


Stir until evenly distributed, then add salt, and jiga celery leaves, cook fried rice until perfectly cooked, don't forget to correct the taste.

Serving Suggestion


I serve the dragon fruit fried rice in the skin of the dragon fruit, I clean the skin then I lab to dry with a tissue. Then add a portion of rice in the dragon fruit bowl. And serve on a serving plate, and look at this portion of rice is very tempting indeed.

The rice is so brightly colored, I'm happy that my fried rice was successful, with a very beautiful color and my nephew really liked it. Indeed, utilizing dragon fruit in the refrigerator in this way is very pleasant. There is a surprise in itself that you should try especially when the dish is beyond expectations it tastes savory and delicious, not sweet I like this taste. It turns out that the color of the dragon fruit doesn't affect the taste at all.

Dragon fruit for rice, hmm interesting, the rice is so colorful, but as a Nigerian, I think I'll pass, because we're not really used to foods colored this way lol.
