Tasty lentils and tomatoes ( Eng/Esp)

Good morning hivers how are you? Unfortunately I still have health problems, this is not my lucky summer, my kidney infection has returned and I also got bad bronchitis, and in a week I have to leave for Croatia, let's hope I feel better, send me positive vibes ! Today I show you another simple and healthy recipe with lentils that I love!

For this recipe you will need:

  • Two tomatoes
  • 100 grams of canned lentils
  • 1 tablespoon of turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of salt

First, let's take the tomatoes, clean them well and cut them into fine slices.

Buenos días hivers ¿cómo estás? Lamentablemente todavía tengo problemas de salud, este no es mi verano de suerte, mi infección renal ha regresado y también tengo bronquitis grave, y en una semana tengo que irme a Croacia, esperemos sentirme mejor, envíame vibras positivas!

Hoy os enseño otra receta sencilla y saludable con lentejas que me encanta!

Para esta receta necesitarás:

  • dos tomates
  • 100 gramos de lentejas enlatadas
  • 1 cucharada de cúrcuma
  • 1 cucharada de nuez moscada
  • 2 cucharadas de aceite de oliva
  • 1 cucharada de sal Primero cogemos los tomates, los limpiamos bien y los cortamos en rodajas finas.

Then we take the lentils, drain them and prepare a bowl with the oil, cook the oil for two minutes then slowly add the lentils, mixing them and salting them, prepare the spoons with the spices, then add the sliced tomatoes to the pan with the lentils and mix everything for about a minute, add the spices and mix again, let it cook for about ten/fifteen minutes, stirring often and then serve hot. An easy, tasty and delicious dish!

Luego cogemos las lentejas, las escurrimos y preparamos un bol con el aceite, cocinamos el aceite durante dos minutos y luego añadimos poco a poco las lentejas, mezclándolas y salando, preparamos las cucharas con las especias, luego añadimos los tomates en rodajas a la sartén con las lentejas y mezclar todo durante aproximadamente un minuto, agregar las especias y mezclar nuevamente, dejar cocinar durante unos diez/quince minutos, revolviendo con frecuencia y luego servir caliente.

Love lentils, and cook them myself - amazing quick food!

Turmeric brings Indian flavor, great! I sometimes add it when I have an Indian mood. :)

I often add herbs if I have some: chopped fresh coriander or dill + chili and some garlic. I was born in Georgia (country), so I have this incline to coriander and spicy food. :)

Uuh I rarely use coriander but I think it's a nice spice, in Italy usually we don't use so much spices but I love spicy food especially Indian food 😍😍
