Sometimes, cravings lead to the best experiments in the kitchen. On this particular day, I found myself longing for something simple yet different—noodles. But instead of the usual recipe, I decided to get creative with flavors and textures, adding a unique twist to a familiar dish. I decided to try out something really unique in flavor, texture and taste so I got to work, with the few ingredients we had and some that I got at the market.

Below are the list of ingredients I used for making this special meal:

Ingredients

  • 120g noodles
  • 2 pieces of carrots
  • 2 fresh tomatoes
  • 3 pieces green peas
  • 3 chili pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cake brownie
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Procedure

I started by parboiling the noodles until they were slightly tender. This helps them easier to cook later and helps them absorb the flavors of the sauce

Next, I chopped all the vegetables—onions, tomatoes, carrots, green peas, and chili peppers. I like to prepare everything beforehand so the cooking process is smooth and organized, cooking is easier when everything is organized and ready.

I placed my pot to heat, added a little oil, and sautéed the onions until fragrant. Then, I added the tomatoes and chili peppers, stirring them together.

Once the base was ready, I added the parboiled noodles and stirred them well. Then I added a tablespoon of cake brownie

I added the green peas and carrots toward the end of the cooking process, thus is to ensure it has some crunchiness in it.

After a quick stir, everything was perfectly mixed and ready to serve!

The result was a delicious and well flavored noodles, and it was as delightful to eat as it was to make it. I loved the combination of the crunchy vegetables, pepper and the cake brownie gave it a nice brown color and a unique flavor too.
I'm happy to share it here, and thank you all for your time here!
