Saludos comunidad #plantpower, feliz y bendecido miércoles, espero se encuentren disfrutando de buena salud en unión de familiares y amigos, en esta semana denominada Semana Santa recordamos la muerte y Resurrección de Jesucristo hace más de 2000 años.
Hoy les comparto la preparación de un batido con arroz, remolacha y naranja, ideal para refrescarnos. el arroz además se ser uno de los cereales más usados para preparar comidas, se emplea también como base o estabilizante (para dar espesor) de los batidos, se combina con diversas frutas y los resultados son unos deliciosos y nutritivos batidos; particularmente me gusta combinar el arroz con frutas cítricas, porque agrega textura al batido. Para aprovechar el arroz que quedó del almuerzo, preparé este batido con los vegetales que tenía en casa; remolacha y naranja.
Lavé el arroz muy bien para quitar la sal, y llevé al fuego con remolacha y canela en rama para aromatizar, este batido es sencillo de preparar , les invito ver el proceso de elaboración.

Today I share with you the preparation of a smoothie with rice, beets and orange, ideal to refresh us. Rice is one of the most used cereals to prepare meals, it is also used as a base or stabilizer (to give thickness) of smoothies, it is combined with various fruits and the results are delicious and nutritious smoothies; I particularly like to combine rice with citrus fruits, because it adds texture to the smoothie. To take advantage of the rice left over from lunch, I prepared this smoothie with the vegetables I had at home, beets and orange.
I washed the rice very well to remove the salt, and took to the fire with beets and cinnamon stick for flavoring, this smoothie is simple to prepare, I invite you to see the process of elaboration.
INGREDIENTES
Arroz (200 gr)
Remolacha (2)
Naranja (2)
Canela en rama
Azúcar (70 gr)
INGREDIENTS
Rice (200 gr)
Beet (2)
Orange (2)
Cinnamon stick
Sugar (70 gr)
PREPARACIÓN
Lavé , pelé y corté la remolacha.
PREPARATION
I washed, peeled and cut the beets.
Llevé al fuego con el arroz previamente lavado, agregué 2 tazas de agua y canela en rama, dejé en cocción por 20 minutos a fuego medio, retiré y dejé enfriar.
I took it to the fire with the previously washed rice, added 2 cups of water and cinnamon stick, let it cook for 20 minutes over medium heat, removed and let it cool.
Retiré las ramas de canela.
I removed the cinnamon sticks.
Lavé y exprimí las naranjas.

Licue el arroz con 1 taza de agua por 20 segundos.
Blend the rice with 1 cup of water for 20 seconds.
Luego agregué el jugo de naranja, azúcar y licue nuevamente.

Colé y llevé a la nevera por 2 horas.
Strain and put in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Transcurridas las 2 horas de refrigeración serví y a disfrutar un delicioso y cremoso batido.
