Vale para empezar, ¿Cómo están todos? Espero hoy se encuentren bastante bien, hoy les daré mi opinión sobre esta saga que, vale, si que es una trilogía pero que acaba por convertirse en saga, sin embargo esta historia puedes elegir dejarla al final del tercer libro o continuar la historia de los otros personajes.
Okay for starters, How are you all? I hope today you are feeling pretty good, today I will give you my opinion about this saga that, well, yes it is a trilogy but it ends up becoming a saga, however this story you can choose to leave at the end of the third book or continue the story of the other characters.
ACOTAR es una trilogía algo controversial por su primer libro y es que suceden unas escenas que pueden ser muy juzgables, de paso tiene un giro de trama para el segundo libro que es, m a r a v i l l o s o, puede que lo ames con locura o que simplemente acabes por odiarlo, ¿adivinen que me pasó a mi? Lo amé con locura.
ACOTAR is a somewhat controversial trilogy for its first book and it is that some scenes happen that can be very judgmental, incidentally it has a plot twist for the second book which is, w o n d e r f u l , you may love it madly or just end up hating it, guess what happened to me? I loved it madly.
Vale pero para los que no saben de qué trata, es aquí donde comienzo yo a explicarles de qué va, sin spoilers así que tranquilos.
Okay but for those who don't know what it's about, this is where I start explaining what it's about, no spoilers so relax.
Una corte de rosas y espinas es una serie de libros de la autora Sarah J Maas se desarrollan en un mundo de fantasía donde existen unas criaturas como 'Hadas' pero estas están divididas del mundo humano, ninguna tiene contacto entre si, o al menos, cuando lo tienen es algo clandestino.
A Court of Thorns and Roses is a series of books by author Sarah J Maas set in a fantasy world where there are creatures like 'Fairies' but these are divided from the human world, none have contact with each other, or at least, when they do it is something clandestine.
Debo decir que estas historias son un poco retelling, se supone que el primero hace alusión al de la Bella y la Bestia, el segundo a Hades y Persefone y el tercero a Blanca Nieves, la escritora solo hace guiños a estas historias pero no se basa enteramente en ellas para contar la historia, el único libro que es más fiel a esto es el primero.
I must say that these stories are a bit retelling, the first one is supposed to allude to Beauty and the Beast, the second to Hades and Persephone and the third to Snow White, the writer only winks at these stories but does not rely entirely on them to tell the story, the only book that is more faithful to this is the first one.
Siento que hablarles de los personajes le quitaría la emoción a la historia pero si les hablaré del personaje principal que es Feyre, una chica humana que vive en un pueblo en unas condiciones bastante malas junto a su padre y a sus dos hermanas, a pesar de Feyre ser la menor de las hermanas, es ella quien tiene que trabajar y cazar para poder alimentar a su familia, ya que el resto se limita a no hacer nada y simular que están en una burbuja en la que aún tienen dinero (Porque si, provenían de una familia rica y pues perdieron todo) Tranquilos que esto no spoiler.
I feel that telling you about the characters would take away the emotion of the story but I will tell you about the main character who is Feyre, a human girl who lives in a village in pretty bad conditions with her father and her two sisters, even though Feyre is the youngest of the sisters, she is the one who has to work and hunt to be able to feed her family, since the rest is limited to do nothing and pretend that they are in a bubble in which they still have money (Because yes, they came from a rich family and then they lost everything) Relax that this is no a spoiler.
Un día, todo cambia cuando ella caza a una criatura y es reclamada (O secuestrada) por una de estas 'Hadas' por lo que tiene que irse al otro lado del muro donde viven estas criaturas, y se encontrará con un mundo totalmente diferente lleno de magia, misterio y problemas por resolver.
One day, everything changes when she hunts a creature and is claimed (or kidnapped) by one of these 'Fairies' so she has to go to the other side of the wall where these creatures live, and she will find a totally different world full of magic, mystery and problems to solve.
Debo decir también, que estas Hadas no son las típicas Hadas que tienen alitas son lindas vuelan y tienen orejas puntiagudas (vale esto último si) pero es que estas criaturas son como Hadas 3.0 porque cada una tiene un poder diferente y unas características diferentes, todo esto hace al mundo creado por Sarah J Maas un mundo preciosisimo.
I must also say that these Fairies are not the typical Fairies that have wings, they are cute, they fly and have pointed ears (ok this last one yes) but these creatures are like Fairies 3.0 because each one has a different power and different characteristics, all this makes the world created by Sarah J Maas a beautiful world.
Sarah J Maas a parte de haber creado un mundo hermoso, ha creado un mundo inmenso, y es que hay dos sagas del universo, cada una separada de la otra, así que puedes elegir leer ACOTAR o Trono de Cristal ambas ocurren en el mismo universo pero no son los mismos personajes.
Sarah J Maas apart from having created a beautiful world has created a huge world and is that there are two sagas of the universe, each separate from the other, so you can choose to read ACOTAR or Throne of Glass both occur in the same universe but are not the same characters.
Vale pero sin desviarnos tanto, es una saga que es digna de leer, tiene varias por no decir MUCHAS escenas Spicy (picantes) así que yo lo pondría como un libro +18 aunque, he leído que lo puedes leer a partir de los 15 años así que todo bien.
Ok but without getting too sidetracked, it is a saga that is worth reading, it has several if not a LOT of spicy scenes so I would put it as a +18 book although, I have also read that you can read it from the age of 15 so it's all good.
La saga no tiene un punto medio, o la odias, o te encanta, mi libro favorito fue el segundo Una Corte de Niebla y Furia, está super bien hecho, dan a conocer nuevos personajes lo cual le da a la trama mucho más sentido y muchísimas ganas de leerlo.
The saga has no middle ground, you either hate it, or you love it, my favorite book was the second A Court of Mist and Fury, it is super well done, they introduce new characters which gives the plot much more sense and a lot of desire to read it.
Sin embargo, debo decir, que el primer libro puede que la primera mitad se te haga lenta porque la autora se centra mucho en describir el mundo, los personajes, y eso es algo que yo sinceramente aprecio, me he encontrado con lecturas que no me terminan de calar por el hecho de la falta de detalles al describir, sin embargo, esto no pasa con Sarah J Maas.
However, I must say, that the first book may be slow in the first half because the author focuses a lot on describing the world, the characters, and that is something that I sincerely appreciate, I have encountered readings that do not finish me to catch me by the fact of the lack of details to describe, however, this does not happen with Sarah J Maas.
La saga está compuesta por tres primeros libros que puedes leer y dejar hasta allí los cuales son:
- Una Corte de Rosas y Espinas
- Una Corte de Niebla y Furia
- Una Corte de Alas y Ruina
The saga is composed of three first books that you can read and leave until there which are:
- A Court of Thorns and Roses
- A Court of Mist and Fury
- A Court of Wings and Ruin
Mientras que el cuarto y y quinto libro son:
- Una Corte de Hielo y Estrellas
- Una Corte de Llamas Plateadas
While the fourth and fifth books are:
- A Court of Frost and Starlight
- A Court of Silver Flames
El cuarto libro que es más como un 3.5 porque es el puente para dar cabida al verdadero 4to libro (o realmente 5to libro) que trata la historia de dos personajes de la saga, sin embargo para leer estos debes haber leído estos tres anteriores, mientras que si lees los tres los puedes dejar hasta allí y elegir no continuar con la historia.
The fourth book which is more like a 3.5 because it is the bridge to make room for the real 4th book (or really 5th book) which deals with the story of two characters in the saga, however to read these you must have read these previous three, whereas if you read all three you can leave them there and choose not to continue with the story.
Para concluir diría que es una saga con muchos matices, al principio hace que te cuestiones si realmente está bien lo que está pasando o no, disfrutas de un mundo nuevo y te da mucho para pasar buenos ratos y reír, incluso llorar, a pesar de esto hay cosas que me hubiesen gustado ver o que creo que pudieron haber sido mejores, no valoraré cada libro por separado, eso espero hacerlo para otra ocasión y extenderme en cada detalle. Sin embargo, la saga para mi es un 3.5/5⭐️.
To conclude I would say that it is a saga with many nuances, at the beginning it makes you wonder if it is really right what is happening or not, you enjoy a new world and gives you a lot to have a good time and laugh, even cry, despite this there are things that I would have liked to see or that I think could have been better, I will not value each book separately, I hope to do it for another time and expand on every detail. However, the saga for me is a 3.5/5⭐️.

¡Hola! Es la saga que estoy leyendo actualmente, recién voy por la mitad del segundo y me tiene completamente atrapada. Ya había leído los otros libros de Sarah, este era ese eterno pendiente que me prometía leer desde hace 3 años más o menos, hasta que por fin me decidí. Igual sabía que en cuanto lo leyera lo iba a amar porque soy muy fan de la escritura de esta autora y me fascina los mundos que crea. Lamento no haberlo hecho antes.
Es una saga bastante bonita, yo aún no he leído los demás libros de Sarah, pero gracias a esta saga he decidido ponerlos en mi lista de lecturas. El segundo es el que más disfruté de todos, no quería que se acabara nunca.

Ahora, he tenido muchas referencias, de todo tipo, sobre esta saga y me gusta mucho que hayas hecho esta reseña en forma de guía, para mi que no la he leído me da una idea global del universo y sobretodo de la secuencia, lo tengo pendiente, así que te tomo la palabra para subirla un poco más alto en la lista de pendientes para lanzarme a ella.
