I do post reviews and there are lots of people who like freebies and you don't need a Kindle. I love my tablet and my phone plus the free kindle app 😁 I saved so much money because of freebies. And I HATE physical books.
I LOVE them. They furnish a room, make it homey and interesting. They don´t need electrical power. They can withstand almost any apocalypse and upgrades. And with one glance you can find old stuff. It represents what you are, intellectually.

Jo, aber soe verbrauchen massenweise Holz und Wasser. Zudem noch Elektrizität für de Produktion und Spritt für den Transport. Deutschland hat Papierknappheit. Viele Verlage haben lange keine neuen Bücher drucken lassen und Erscheinungstermine verschoben. Zeitungen werden immer dünner. Schreinereien haben Probleme an Holz zu kommen...
Den Platzverbrauch von Büchern mal gabz abgesehen und ich finde sie zudem aich stinkig und muffig, und ja auch neue, mir wird von dem Geruch schlecht. Sie sind unhandlich und kosten so viel mehr als Ebooks. Ich habe sie schon als Kind gehasst, aber damals gab es leider keine Alternative.
Und bei ca 150-200 Büchern die ich im Jahr lese kommt da einiges zusammen. Ich lese Bücher zudem eh nur 1x, danach staunen sie ein und nehmen Platz in de Wohnung weg. Dafür dann 10-20€, nein danke.
